It's the most wonderful time of year....

And you know what time of year I mean.

MTV MOVIE AWARDS TIME OF YEAR.

Seriously. These awards are pretty much my #1 favorite award show of the year.

Obviously I love the Oscars and of course (and maybe even more so) the Golden Globes. Who doesn't? I love the glamour. I love the old-Hollywood folk.

BUT

They both LACK elements that simply make the MTV Movie Awards WHAT they are.

Examples?

A POPCORN MAN. Need I say more? Oh wait - YEAH. POPCORN STATUES FOR AWARDS.

The use of an excessive amount of F-Bombs

And oh yeah - that time THIS happened

So naturally when the days leading up to the MTV Movie Awards arrive - I'm a little excited. Which is why I am bringing you this post:

AND I'm going to get this out of the way first before anyone reads this entire post then wishes death upon me. You ready?

I DO NOT WANT TWILIGHT TO WIN EVERYTHING

Yes. You read that right. DO NOT WANT.

Why? Why would a Twihard like myself say such a thing? Here's where the haters gonna hate. BECAUSE ITS KIND OF EMBARRASSING. And seriously - there are some FAR better movies that actually deserve to win this year.

And really - with two more Twilight movies headed to theaters, MTV Movie Awards are going to start losing their credibility as a cool, hip awards show and stray towards the Kid's Choice Awards genre.

So there - you have been warned that my MTV Movie Awards Wish-List will not sparkle with Twilight wins like Edward's skin in the sunlight. It will be all over the place like Mark Zuckerberg's computer that gorgeous Andrew Garfield smashed to bits in The Social Network.

Not gonna lie. I only saw 2/5 of the nominated fights but damn if that hallway fight sequence doesn't still make me queasy and excited at the same time every damn time.

who will probably win? Rob. Because he's Rob.

BEST JAW-DROPPING MOMENT

BLACK SWAN

First of all, I'm saddened this is no longer called the 'Best WTF Moment' - that award title was golden but yeah. In all seriousness, ALL of Black Swan had my jaw dropped. By the time she was plucking feathers from her skin (jaw-drop inducing FOR SURE) my jaw was already LOCKED in jaw drop position. Which is clearly why this movie needs to WIN.

who will probably win? Bieber. Because he's fucking Bieber.

BEST BADASS STAR

ALEX PETTYFER

Not gonna lie. My reasons for this wish are based purely on the fact that I think he is ridiculously hot. Sorry.

who will probably win? Jaden Smith. Because he's Will Smith's offspring.

BEST VILLAIN

where was I in 2011? clearly not watching any of the movies with stars nominated for best villain. FAIL.

BEST SCARED AS SHIT PERFORMANCE

Because first of all - Inception was AWESOME and second - she's from Nova Scotia which is TWO HOURS AWAY. I want my East Coast girl to represent. That is all.

who will probably win? Minka Kelly cause roomates ripping each other's hair out in their undies is apparently HOT.

It is unnatural how much I love that movie so clearly I want them to sweep the awards this season. Why? Because they won the globes, they won at the oscars, they need to add MTV Award to their list too.

I will GLADLY except either of these two gorgeous imports on the stage for winning this award. And then I'll flail and get all hot & bothered and be done for.

Again. I love Zach. I love Emma. They both made me laugh BIG TIME in 2011. Zach does it by not even having to open his mouth so really - that's pretty impressive. And totally MTV Movie Award worthy. Yes?

who will probably win? Adam Sandler. He's always the crowd favorite for some reason I will never understand.

ROB & KRISTEN FTMFW

See? I may not want Twilight to win everything but I damn well want it to win this. Why? Because Rob and Kristen KNOW they really have to deliver this time. No more beating around the bush you two. GIVE US WHAT WE WANT and no one gets hurt. You don't want poor Bear (who will totally be watching from home) to witness you NOT kiss and then worry his poor puppy head that there's trouble in paradise, now do you?

who will probably win? I FEAR Taylor will. FEAR.

BEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE

Not gonna lie. I love Kristen. I obviously do not need to justify said love to all of you. BUT part of me kinda wants poor Kristen to have the night off from gracing that stage solo to accept yet another Best Actress award and then get criticized for being awkward and ungrateful. Solution? Emma (who has never one) WINS. She's gorgeous. She's talented. Kristen's happy. We're happy.

who will probably win? my spider senses actually predict Natalie Portman. Seriously.

BEST MALE PERFORMANCE

JESSE EISENBERG

Rob won it last year. And the year before (I think? yes?). Let's let someone new win and I vote Jesse. Why? Because he fucking rocked The Social Network. That's why. And because I want them to show Kristen excitedly cheering for him because she totally would. End of Story.

who will probably win? Rob. Because it's Rob.
